In 2020, designer David Dolcini embarked on a personal research journey, combining his product design expertise with methodical exploration to create without constraints. This led to TIMEMADE, a series of one-of-a-kind pieces where material takes center stage in a narrative shaped by the passage of time. Inspired by diverse influences—botanic grafts, traditional Japanese architecture, and ancient Chinese ink painting—Dolcini crafted a visual language reflecting the essence of his research. The concept of "made with time" defined every phase of creation and continues to guide the project’s evolution. Each piece is a 'micro-architecture,' constantly shaped by its surroundings and human interaction, embracing the transient, ever-changing nature of time.
